Burning Light

I took this photo on one of the multiple winter walks in my nearby woodlands. There's a contrast between the stillness of a winter evening and the burning light of a sunset reflected on the untouched, crisp nature. An antithesis between the frozen, cold, blue-ish winter tints and the sunset's warm, flaming reds and oranges. Trapping the sunset on the withered fern leaves seemed the perfect manner to merry these two opposite concepts.
